Project progress has been presented to all partners. In WP1, partners from INRIA gave the presentation of the overall results and other partners rose up several comments on the quality of service function block. Partner from UniZH extended the results from mWP1 to WP5 and received comments from all other partners involved in the integration work including routing, security, network topology information management and so on. Then the identified topics were discussed in details in sub-groups.
In WP2, presentations were given by partners from CMDI, CTTL, Inria, and ULANC regarding the research results on traffic modelling and analysis for various Grid applications. A sub-group meeting in WP2 agreed on a step by step plan on how to code these results into ns2 simulator. A series of presentations were given in WP3 regarding research progress on several topics and algorithms including resource broker, shared bottleneck detection algorithm, weighted congestion control, Optimisations of MPI implementations in grid content, distributed measurement of network performance and resource availability, evaluation of soap express and dynamic multicast replication point selection for IPTV.
All partners in WP4 gave presentations on their own progress after UniZH’s clarification presentation. The DoC of D4.1 is produced at the end of the meeting. Collaboration activities with other EU projects and publications were presented in WP8 and WP6 respectively.
