The EC-GIN project partners are pleased to announce the availability of the Grid application traffic simulators for public release.
This release includes four separate ns2 simulators which model ATLAS, GridFTP, IPTV and PPLive (P2P streaming) grid applications all of which can be tuned to replicate a range of conditions and streaming parameters.
This code is now available for download from our SourceForge project and is free to the public for parties wishing to experiment with grid traffic. The simulators are provided as-is with the appropriate files and user guides and detailed documentation describing their operation. Please note that this code will continuously be updated, and hence any feedback is appreciated at 'ns2code<at>ec-gin<dot>eu'.
